It was one of the most enjoyable, educational trips I've even been on - first class all the way!!

It was the trip of a lifetime time. Hotel accommodations, especially the Monasterio Hotel in Cusco, was the BEST, and we would love to go back to Cusco again and again. Our tour director Wendy Rodriguez was the BEST as well; she was very personable, yet professional, kind, loving, friendly, and she made time to get to know all of the 34 of us. She is one of a kind and we will miss her. Excellent tour and planning.

The cruise was fine. We had a large issue with the reservation that the other couple we were traveling with had. Somehow the trip get reversed (zurich to paris, instead of paris to zurich) and it took way to long to get it resolved. Was very frustrating and aggravating

There were two Pavlus-related issues that are being worked on... 1. We called your after-hours emergency # on Sat. 7/13/24 because our flight at MCO was delayed, and we were going to miss our connection at EWR. The first call went OK, but the guy (in Houston) couldn't find us another flight. He asked if we could get our luggage pulled, and we were afraid what might happen, so we didn't proceed. When we called back, we got your call center (in India, I'm guessing), and we could barely understand that guy. He kept insisting we wanted a rental car (we think) in Stockholm, while we told him we wanted to get a FLIGHT there! Pavlus is in the process of obtaining the verbal transcript, which is delayed due to the airline debacle a couple of weeks ago. I spoke with Heather (Director of Guest Relations) on 7/29/24, and she (or someone) will get back to us. Stephanie (our Travel Planner) was going to be on vacation for 2 weeks. 2. Norwegian Air did not give us the seats we paid for from Bergen to Oslo on 7/27/24, even though I showed the agent our Pavlus printed receipt. We had to pay about $98 USD to check 3 bags, because the "class" seats the gal told us we were in did not allow carry-ons. Pavlus should have told us about the baggage and seating situation. I also mentioned this to Heather, and we sent a copy of the boarding passes and receipt. She will get back to us. She said Norwegian Air is the worst, but is the only major airline that flies between those cities. 3. The other issues with this trip had to do with United Airlines and the "code share" with SAS for our flights. We missed our United connection with SAS in EWR on 7/13 because the United plane at MCO had a mechanical issue. United got us on the flight to Stockholm the next day, on a United flight. But we had paid for Business Class on SAS and flew Premium Economy (exit row -- no reclining seats) on United to Stockholm. We submitted a request to United for a refund. We have never arrived the day a tour began, which is what happened. We missed our Tauck Gift of Time at the Stockholm hotel, but our room was ready when we arrived late morning the day the tour began. The Tauck driver waited for us while we looked for our luggage. It was on a different carousel. We're going on another Tauck land tour (Canadian Capitals + Niagara Falls) in 3.5 weeks (also booked thru Pavlus), and hope things will go much smoother! Oceania comments: Some of sites in Canada were not that interesting. Disappointed with number of days at sea due to inability to land at two locations on Greenland because of ice floes. We wonder whether alternate plans could have been made in advance due to this contingency, We have heard that this is a chronic problem with Greenland. Missed having lectures on the stops that were made regarding local culture, etc. Some .lecturers/presenters were marketing their own products, not presenting objective comments. On the other hand, Richard Howells was wonderful.

Pavlus is just fine NCL needs some amount of refinement in their proceedure s which are unacceptable

entertainment and food was excellent. We haven't been on a big ship in years. Usually oceania or regent. Full by they move people quite well. Never waited more than 10 min for anything

Question me if I ever want to cruise on NCL again!

the cruise was good. There were some glitches, but not American Cruise Line fault. The ship wasn't able to dock at Nashville, but across the river. This made it harder to get off the ship and to get to the buses. It also meant that tours were shorter since it took longer to get there.

While Silverseas was a great trip, the boat was older but well maintained and we loved that the guests numbered 300! The service level on Silverseas was exceptional. We were unhappy with two of the ports which I called out in their survey: Trapani Sicily was a waste..uninteresting and we saw so little of Sicily. And Sibenik in Croatia was not very interesting. The remainder were outstanding and the excursion guides were exceptionally knowledgeable! The fact that we were booked NOT on a non-stop flight home was incredibly disappointing as there are many from Venice to the NY area and made for a very long travel day. Also, the embarkation experience : picked up at the Rome airport and instead of taking us directly to the port..just a short distance...they drove us all the way into Rome to meet up with other travelers and then turned around and took the double the distance trip back to the port. Had I known I would have made my own arrangements to get to the port.

Just a note that SilverSea is picky about what they mean by a 'formal evening'. We were refused entry into 2 of the onboard restaurants because we did not bring a sports coat or suit. The world is changing and suggest that SilverSea change with the times. I wore a sports jacket/tie or suit every day for 30 years and do not wish to do so when on vacation! That is one minor complaint in an otherwise excellent vacation. Stephanie and her team were great.

Stephanie has been extremely helpful and professional. I really appreciate the service she provided to me for this trip. I like the special benefits (OBC in this case) that Pavlus is able to provide.

Communication was choppy, we had to find our own flights, we asked for our flights to be booked refundable, but that was not done. Stephanie did call to apologize and state that Pavlus would honor the tickets as refundable even though they were not. This was appreciated, but the overall experience did not make us feel like a valued customer. Lastly, I would have thought Pavlus would have sent an itinerary package. All travel agents/companies we have worked with in the past have always sent an itinerary package.

Donna Haller and I went on the Best of the Canadian Rockies tour. The country was beautiful and the guide exceptional. However, we booked a “small group” trip. There were 26 people on the tour. We don’t consider that a “small group.” While Donna and I were aware that the tour description stated that the tour ended at 10:00 am on May 31, we both needed to depart for our homes on the morning of May 31. Pavlus Travel booked our flights (leaving at 9:45 am and 9:50 am) from Calgary. Pavlus said they would arrange our transportation from Banff to the airport so we could catch those flights. When we arrived in Calgary to start the trip, we were shocked and dismayed to learn from our tour guide that those arrangements had not been. We are extremely grateful to Ward Cameron for his help in arranging for our airport transport. We’d like to add that Stephanie has been very good to work with on both of our Tauck tours and would like to commend Ward Cameron for all he did. Karen Burnaska and Donna Haller.

Stephanie is an excellent travel adviser; always responding to my requests and questions in a timely manner. Also, I had requested from your gifts group that a second bottle on wine be substituted for the candy and flowers normally sent. I was delighted upon boarding to see a $125 on-board credit issued by Pavlus, more than enough to purchase wine aboard.

The cruise staff were impeccable! TDs Rui, Felippe and Maxim amazing! Really did a great job and kept an eye on all of us very quick response Attention and care in a very professional manner. They were also very fun and charming! One thing I would’ve liked re the mushroom stroganoff cooking demonstration. It was very hard to see and most everyone couldn’t hear what was going on. I think a microphone would’ve helped and different seating but the results were delicious! The scarf tying demonstration/class was brilliant and so nice that men were included! Rui and Lydia rocked it! I made a friend on the tour whohad twisted her ankle during a walking tour- And all the TDs were Brillantly focused and in gear! They found ice for her ankle and a sports medicine doctor happen to be in our group –Rui had special wrapping tape in her first aid kit with her! They arranged a quick Uber back to the hotel. Checked in with her frequently made sure she was able to get crutches. See the doctor and get her meals! This is my second trip with Tauck and I am so happy and impressed! I’m actually leaving for the Budapest to Prague trip on May 18! ❤️??Peggy Logsdon (special kudus to bar manager Ciprian Rosu, Doru, Florin, and Alex! And Lydia what wonderful people)! And it all started with Stephanie Potters excellent performance in putting it all together! I’ll be back again and again!

We had a great time on our vacation. We actually started our vacation a week earlier than the start of the river cruise. We were happy with the help we had with planning our trip. The hotels suggestions were just what we were looking for and happy with the ones we choose for Barcelona and Valencia. We really like having Stephanie as our travel planner and look forward to having her help us with future travel.

Pavlus is the best travel agency. Shelby Steudle and Heather Green had to intervene on our behalf with Viking Cruises over some air reservation issues. They both went to the extremes to successfully advocate on our behalf and communicate with us. Everyone at Pavlus has been so responsive.

Communication is poor. I didn’t hear from Stephanie on the same day as an email or message unless it was regarding a new booking. When significant changes occurred to our itinerary during the trip she didn’t contact me to offer assistance (other travelers using different agencies heard right away). Once Tauck issued a credit towards a new booking I received an email right away. When that change occurred on 3/8/24, Pavlus sent an email on 3/16/24 to notify me! It is unfortunate that booking air is required to receive the rebate. On January 11, 2024 I sent the air department an email requesting an air change due to the Max 9 incident. I did receive an auto response email stating it could take five days for a response (ridiculous). On January 19th, after not receiving a response I called and spoke to Michael. He assured me he would contact United and get back to me. I asked that call or send email with that response on that day. He assured me that he would. I never heard from him again. I did receive an email response from Leann on January 30 saying changes couldn’t be made without incurring extra charges. I also spoke to Denise on March 1st. She was definitely the most professional but was unable to make a change to my departing flight (due to runway construction delays at SFO). I called United and made the change myself the following day at no extra charge. I may use Pavlus again but only for a Tauck trip and only because you’re the only game in town.

This was my first time with Tauck. Good friends spoke often about their experiences and always with enthusiasm. They suggested that I join them on the Egypt trip and I'm very happy I did. It was strenuous but interesting and invigorating. The guides were outstanding in terms of their knowledge and ability to inform us. The director was extremely personable and absolutely thorough no matter how small or difficult the need was. I was impressed with her energy, humour, and her ability to envelop guests into a familiar group. The sites were so impressive. The Oberoi cruise was outstanding in all aspects. Each hotel had its own significant appeal. It would have been nice to spend an extra day at the Cataract Hotel and do the tour of the monastery from there. It was great to leave all the details to Tauck staff who performed there task so well. I look forward to another trip with Tauck. Perhaps a river cruises.

This was a trip that postponed for 2 years and changed 3 times due to covid. I was the organizer for our group of 6 who were from 3 different countries, the change of schedule has made my planning quite difficult, however with Stephanie's help, I was able to sort out all the refund/credit/charges and finalized the trip. Stephanie Potter went above & beyond on a last minute Danube river cruise for us. It was a challenge dealing with Emerald including hours of waiting on responses & confirmation. Steph never quit (an agent from another firm had given up and told us there were no cabins available) until she, working with her fellow staff from Pavlus, got us on the boat with 48 hrs to spare. A true professional with a 'never say never' attitude. The cruise itself was enjoyable as we surprised and joined cousins who had booked a year in advance. Next time we will try and give Steph a little more time to do her magic.
