Globus missed the mark on 2 of the hotel. After Palermo, first hotel had no air, but more importantly no hot water in shower. The food, breakfast all good, love pasta, but only had meat once( chicken) til last night had sausage and meatball. First stop was 3 eggplant dishes. Was good, but we were on an island, no fish? Guide and bus driver were great!!!

This was my first Viking cruise. I have a two week cruise with Viking in April. I prefer Regent for my next trip. Viking itineraries involve too much walking. I have a bad back and not able to do long walks. I would prefer more bus tours with stops as they do with Regent on our Africa cruise. Also I would like to be contacted when a great deal on a cruise comes up. Something that would be considered a great all inclusive trip. Also would consider a river cruise.

Pavlus is great! When there was a possible strike Pam helped me move from Air Canada to United Airlines. Tauck is usually great, but this was definitely not my favorite vacation. Food and weather were great, but accommodations were not up to Tauck standards. Also one long bus ride, and rest stops were too "touristy".

Everything went smoothly. There were no hiccups. Another great vacation coordinated by Pam.

We had some problems before we left. Lots of trouble setting up dinner reservations. We had 21 people. Once we arrived everything went very well. We had a great time. I don’t know who was responsible. It could have been all Princess. I called and they were very uninformed. The Princess website is terrible. I got three different answers. One from Pavlus, one from Princess trip and another on the medallion. All in all it turned out and my family had a great time.

We had a wonderful time on our cruise. We felt we made an excellent choice both on the cruiseline and on the specific cruise. Our shore excursions were enjoyable, and we loved the amenities of the PLUS program. We also booked transfers both to and from LaGuardia. We had initially booked our departure from LaGuardia at 10:59 AM but received the following message from Pavlus: Hi Gail, I can add the arrival transfer. However, unfortunately, your departure flight leaves too early to get the Princess transfer: On the day of departure, we were asked to arrive in one of the dining rooms by 8:15 AM, boarded the bus shortly afterwards and arrived at La Guardia by a little after 9 AM. We ended up flying standby on an earlier flight #993 at 10:59 AM (coincidentally the same flight we had originally booked), and I flew standby on flight #3115 at 2:15 PM to Sarasota. I don't understand why our original flight had to be changed. Flying standby, we could very easily not have been able to secure seats on these earlier flights, plus we could have avoided the hassle of flying "standby". Plus, I lost the upgrade I had booked for myself on the SRQ flight.

I tell every one about our trip. Pam was awesome. I give her cards to all the people who asked about Hawaii. I told them it is the way to go.i liked the cruise because you could go at your own pace and do what you wanted to do. Great adventure. Would like a baggage handler in air port to handle baggage to shuttle. Long way to walk with all the luggage.

We took 2 Smithsonian Journeys tours, back to back, and both were very good. And, as always, Pam is perfect to work with.

Would not recommend the ship. Did not like the new edge series on celebrity. The ship is to crowded, dark. Hardly any windows. A lot of wasted space. Breakfast was subpar. Dinner was better, but not great. No table in the cabin to put our room service on despite plenty of room for one. Mgmt refused to bring us a table. The solstice series is much nicer brighter and easier to get around. We will be sailing on Oceania in the future.

The tour we took was the Classic Italy tour with Tauck. Pam was extremely helpful and made all the arrangements for the trip. Our Tauck river cruise of the Douro that started in Madrid and ended in Lisbon was highly anticipated. Unfortunately, my husband (and I) became ill early on in the cruise with an intestinal flu. My husband required transfer by ambulance to a local hospital where he received treatment aided by the translation of our able tour guide Manuel Rezende. I became ill the next day and we were unwell for the rest of the trip, missing most of the excursions and meals. We even booked a private car return from Porto to Lisbon because of our level of discomfort . It was very disappointing but we commend the Tauck staff for being helpful and accommodating as best they could. To add insult to injury, our return flight home on April 21 was cancelled. When we called the Pavlus travel desk, they told us they could not help us rebook, that United airlines was “in control” of our flights. We found that troubling. So what is the purpose of access to emergency travel hotline if assistance is not offered?? My husband ended up speaking with United and then Air Canada representatives at length to book our return flight. We are not blaming anyone for our unfortunate experience but felt you should know both the positive and negatives of our trip.

We booked this cruise directly with Viking while we were on another Viking cruise in 2022. Viking then interacted with Pam Chavez to process all the paperwork, payments, etc. leading up to our departure. The process was rather straightforward with no issues either before or during the cruise. We have worked with Pam on a number of previous bookings and she has always done a very good job for us. As to the cruise itself, the Viking ship was in impeccable condition and everything went off as planned except for a late excursion departure in Dublin due to heavy morning fog. The ship was very full (approx. 95%) but the crew handled the excursions and dining with ease. Viking is clearly a big step above the other cruise lines that we have traveled on and it's a pleasure to sail with them.

Tour was well organized and communicated. Software information tools were invaluable. I think the tour was a good value for the price.

I have always been 100% satisfied with the services provided to me. My trips have always gone smoothly, with the exception of some flight delays which were beyond Pavlus's control. I have made 12 referrals to Pavlus. All persons referred were satisfied clients, several of whom have been repeat travelers using Pavlus. I particularly appreciate Pam for her prompt replies to my emails, and an occasional phone call, during the trip planning process. She has been a successful advocate for me with Uniworld as Uniworld seems to be always offering new price incentives for trips already booked.

Loved our Silverseas cruise.They do an excellent job; accommodations, food & beverage, wonderful personnel, all make for an amazing trip. Plus including the 6 excursions & limo service to & from airport were an added bonus to makiing the experience even better than we expected. Four of the 10 traveling required kosher food on the cruise. The food & beverage staff & quality of food were outstanding. Silverseas went out of thier way to be gracious, very accommodating & helpful which was appreciated. We paid for 5 cabins which involved varied personalities with different needs & requests before departure. Four of us had traveled with Pavlus & Silverseas before, so knew what to expect & how to proceed. We had booked a cruise 2 years ago & cancelled because of Covid (prior to when Silverseeas officially cancelled that trip) It was with a bit of trepidation & good faith when we booked this cruise about 10 months ago. It's so gratifying it worked out so well for our family, cruise line & Pavlus. Overall everyone was pleased with Pam, who has been our travel planner for at least 4 cruise trips ( Seaborn & Silverseas) these past 8 years & Pavlus service.

My vacation to Sicily was caught up in the pandemic and had to be rebooked. Pam always does a good job and rebooked everything for us with Globus. I have traveled with Globus many times. Before we left, we tried to get flights changed and were told nothing better could be found. On the way over on Delta and Alitalia, our luggage was lost. This was due to Alitalia being sold and employees were on strike and never loaded luggage. While waiting at Luggage Lost in Palermo, our transfer did not wait for us. We paid additional for the transfer because we traveled a day early. Fortunately, we found transportation to the hotel after contacting the hotel. Globus is reimbursing us for the transfer. Our tour was amazing and our guide was excellent. This helped to put Globus back in good terms. We communicated with Globus about our issues and still tried to get flights home changed. Finally, the day before we left, Globus changed our flights because ours were cancelled. I had to wonder if that would have happened had we not been in touch with Globus. Some of the people on our tour were stuck at the airport with cancelled flights. So, we were fortunate. All-in-all, our tour was very good. Globus just didn’t do as good a job with travel as they have with previous trips.

Very pleased with the service I get from Pam. I have availed myself of her assistance many times. My wife and I just finished our 5th river cruise with American Cruise Lines. They have all been very well done, but I thought this last one (Snake and Columbia Rivers) was exceptionally so. The combination of history and scenery just cannot be beat. On our first cruise with ACL in 2016, we were very fortunate to have Bill Wiemuth onboard as our resident historian. He knows his stuff (American history and the role the major rivers played in it, the history of steamboating, civil war, Louisiana Purchase, Lewis and Clark, Mark Twain, etc). But what is even more appreciated is that he has a great storytelling technique. He is giving lectures, but they are so interesting and well presented that no-one wants to miss even one of them. He also provides entertainment along with his very talented wife, Laura Sable. We have arranged every one of our subsequent cruises to make sure that Bill and Laura are on the ship at that time - they do about 30 weeks a year with ACL. Unfortunately, we have now done almost all of the cruises that feature Bill and Laura, so our next two (already booked) are with different historians. If they can even come close to matching Bill Wiemuth I will be thrilled. This latest cruise really was a great combination of history and scenery. I strongly recommend it. If you can arrange it when Bill and Laura are scheduled then you hit the jackpot. I would be more than happy to discuss details with any of your planners or clients.
