When winter arrives, the valley transforms into a snowy paradise, perfect for cross-country skiing, fat biking, whale watching, and astro-touring under vibrant Aurora Borealis displays. The region’s maritime snowpack and abundant snowfall make it a dream destination for heli-skiing, with rolling descents and ocean-to-peak terrain accessible via two on-site helipads. If flight conditions don’t cooperate, our guides lead ski touring and other winter adventures to ensure no down days.
Back at the lodge, guests can unwind in the geothermal-heated indoor/outdoor pool with a swim-up bar, Viking sauna, cold plunge, and luxurious spa facilities with flotation tanks and massage treatments.
