Our Micato safari was a custom private tour that was planned without Donna's assistance, but she readily took over when we were ready to book, and helped us navigate booking and answered our questions on insurance! The Pavlus Air Department did a fabulous job finding Kenya Airways! That airline never showed up on any of our searches, and non-stop flights to and from Nairobi were excellent! We were happy to have our fellow travelers (Aten and Kroegers) become part of the Pavlus family, too!

Donna is great to work with. Her knowledge is extensive and her follow up is impeccable. On this trip, our first hotel did not have our reservation in their system. We waited for 1 1/2 hours while another Pavlus representative battled the SNAFU. It was an example of great teamwork.

We were very happy with the Silversea cruise experience for the first time - excellent service & quality! Our Tauck tour directors were excellent and experienced! For Alaska the weather was great and definitely one of the best times to be there. Our suggestions for Tauck on this trip(which we shared with them) -- 1) evaluate some of the excursions and operators used ie for the Catamaran Wildlife excursion. We heard better experiences with others who used Silversea tours. 2) Would have liked to have option of organized pre trip to Denali, and likewise extension in Vancouver to Victoria.

A little disappointed in Oceania this cruise. Food quality not as good and service was not up to par. Will travel again with Oceania just this trip was not up to their usual standards. As for Pavlus Travel, I am very pleased and recommended your service to several passengers during this trip.

My 83 yr old sister had her flights cancelled just prior to departure and then the rebooked flights were delayed. She almost missed the ship because it took over 2 days to get to Istanbul. We ended up having to buy a one way business class ticket to the other Istanbul airport and paying for private transfer. Then her luggage was lost for the entire trip. She received it back at her home in NJ after the trip. Oceania assisted us in getting her to the ship just in time. She hopes to get some of her added expenses back through AA and BA and through the insurance she purchased through Oceania.

The service was 1st rate. The food was wonerfully presented but sometimes the Taste did not match the presentation-- It was still good but not great. The LaDame Restaurant costs extra and is very hard to get a reservation (even long before the trip)but again the service was very good but the food not up to expectations considering the extra cost and difficulty getting a tabble. . In our opinon NOT worth it. Most excursions were very nice but the Flam Tour to the top of the Fiord was long and disapointing * Only one Panaramic View Point which is totally overcrowded with far too many Bus and Private tourists --- you have to armwressle your wato the singlge small viewpoint , if you are lucky, then yje trip back is over 1 hour. Not good. Better to take the sightseeing train if you can get a reservation. the siver Dawn is a very nicely appuinted ship, The room service staff and Butler are very helpful and always friendly.

Pre-cruise Masterpiece Chocolate Tour did not include Lindt, as my brochure stated was included. Uniworld did not notify me that Lindt was not included. The tour was tacky. The tour guide went inside chocolate shops and purchased chocolates for us to taste outside the shops. It was so unsanitary because everyone was reaching inside to get their "sample". I informed the cruise manager upon arrival at the boat. Veronika informed me that Uniworld would reach out to me in reference to my refund for this Masterpiece Tour. I never heard anything back from Uniworld! I want a refund on this tour! The other Masterpiece Tour that was not worth the money was the Culinary Walking Tour. We walked to a restaurant and were served coffee and cake. No description what we were eating. Tour guide had to spend time finding a substitute for the child with nut allergies. Next stop was tasting goulash and beer. We were shoved into the small area and served the food and beer. No description of what we were tasting. Then the last tasting was a wine tasting. It was actually a liquor store basement that the tour guide gave us a history lesson of the area. I want a refund on this one also! The second leg of the trip was Multigenerational. This was not on my brochure that it was multigenerational. The Uniworld hired assistants to oversee the children did not do a very good job. They were seen running around in the reception area, crawling on the furniture, loud in the lounge during the port briefings, unsupervised at the lunch buffets. Why were they allowed in the lounge during port briefings! It was difficult to find a quite area on the boat because the large family groups were everywhere talking loud and disturbing those around them. There were children on The Culinary Tour that did not belong.

Normal Outstanding Pavlus service.

This was our first cruise on Viking. Maybe after hearing so many good things about Viking, we may have gone in expecting too much. However, we were very disappointed in the food. It was mediocre at best (except for the German buffet night!!!!!) and there was not much variety in dinner choices. Actually, lunches were way better than dinner. Also, with extremely high temperatures for the first half of the trip, one of the two compressors on the ship went out, and the temperatures in our cabin never got below 79 degrees for three days. First they blamed it on the water temperature. Later they admitted that a part was broken, and it took 3 days to get a new part and replace it. Lastly, we noticed a lot of discrepancies between shore excursion descriptions on Viking's website and the actual excursion itself. During the first part of the cruise, a lot of guests who had mobility issues attempted to go on some excursions described as "Easy". They could not do the excursion. And they weren't people in wheelchairs. Some with a cane, and one that used a walker. So, during the cruise, the ship's staff decided to create a new category called "Leisure". They added excursions for these guests that they could go on. So, good for them; however, it's kind of surprising that they haven't done this before? The only other river cruise we have been on was Avalon, and I would rate them way above Viking. Donna at Pavlus was SUPERB as usual!!!!! Love you guys!!

More than satisfied with Pavlus. QM2 was with some exceptions was excellent. Meat entrees on 5 occasions were inedible. Internet cost is a ridiculous $36 a day.

We are very satisfied with the overall vacation, however there were few unexpected events like our train transfer from Amsterdam to Brussels was cancelled due to problems of train under repair where we were not notified in advance and there is no clear assistance from the staff of the train station. We were at the train station before the scheduled ride of 2:20pm (12:30pm) and when we got on the train there was an announcement to not board the train. We went to the information and were told to wait for another train schedule at certain platform at 4:20pm and again the train schedule is cancelled. We had to seek for another option to hire a van ride from Amsterdam to Brussels. There were 8 of us in the group and we were charge 420 Euro plus tip. Also we had to wait for the driver coming from Amsterdam. It was already 7:00 pm when we got picked up.

I picked Celebrity but I gave them a poor rating. I had 4 cabins and the ship and the cabins were so dated. I was told it had been renovated in Jan 2024. We also felt we were nickel and dimed to death. It had nothing to do with Pavlus Donna did a great job for us and she is currently searching for our next cruise. Thanks. Charlotte Price

Tauck needs a lesson in time management, we were handed a document detailing our first five days and not once did it match the guides "free time". The six hour gap between disembarkation and entering our hotel room was a waste of time. Tauck should create activities around that size hour gap. Very unpleasant way to end the tour.

Unfortunately we encountered a problem upon check in @ The Grand Hotel in Amsterdam. We had booked thru Pavlus a night before the Tauck "gift of time." There was no record of this, but they were very hospitable @ reception and allowed us to check in early.In addition, 1 of our 2 suitcases was broken between leaving the Grand Hotel and delivery on The Inspire. We notified our Pavlus agent, Donna, as well as the staff aboard the Inspire. It was temporarily repaired, but we are in need of a new suitcase now. To date, we haven't received our rebate check.

the trip was enjoyable but the transportation was terrible. We did have a direct flight to Lisbon but the return flight to Philadelphia was not direct. flight left Porto at 8 AM and then on to Frankfurt. Layover was over 4 hours. then we boarded a Discover plane. the seats were very tight and the meal was horrible. After this experience we may not travel to Europe in the future.

Very good except developed Covid during trip and near end of trip contacted the emergency travel line that Pavlus gave me in regards to returning a day early. I was expecting assistance with changing our flights home but was told they could not help us, even though I had the travel insurance from Tauck. I was told I would have to contact Tauck and that they could not assist me, even though I was not feeling well. I expected more!! I had to tough it out and complete our trip due to the lack of assistance I received!

Spirit of the Desert Tauck tour should reduce the price and give travelers the option to do the flightseeing as the flights are quite choppy and not for everyone. As we did not take the 2nd flight I feel we did not get great value for our dollars and will more carefully read the inclusive excursions in the future. Overall the parks are spectacular and all Americans should see them and realize what a beautiful country we live in.

Our recent cruise was fabulous! We thoroughly enjoyed our time on the Oceania Insignia, especially since we booked segments of the current World Cruise and we saw many people we knew from our 2022 World Cruise on the same ship! Donna is a great asset to Pavlus! She and the Air Travel team have made it very easy to book, modify, and confirm our travel plans. We have successfully referred some of our friends and they have had glowing comments about Donna and Pavlus, too!

We’ve been extremely satisfied with the services provided by Pavlus. Tauck Tours is the finest travel provider although there was a little too much emphasis on history on our recent tour of Spain and Portugal. I suppose that goes with the territory though.

Very responsive when booking a trip. Responsiveness wanes after initial booking. Need more coordination between listing agent and air travel section. Need more info on your reimbursement of airfare so the traveler can decide to use these funds to upgrade their seat. Mike Steudle is has been the most influential person to keep us coming back to Pavlas. He always answers his phone and has complete control of all aspects of your travel systems and can answer all questions in real- time. He has saved the day more than once for us in our international flights….even getting out of bed to provide customer service to us. You have a good company and are settling in following Covid. We didn't receive our welcome package completely when arrived for our cruise. We did get a bottle of champagne, which we swapped for a bottle of wine as my wife is allergic to champagne, but no flowers. Service on Oceania was hit and miss compared to our previous cruise on Riviera. It appeared some of the service crew needed more training. Other long time Oceania customers we spoke with said service was sub-par.

Donna has been very helpful. It has been a challenging year, with one trip canceled due to health problems, and another cut short by covid contracted mid cruise. I really like your business model of sharing your commission. Much more impactful than the usual token shipboard credit, etc.

Everything was handled very well. No issues with any of the travel arrangements.

This journey was a rail trip that was thoroughly enjoyed. Looking for more rail itineraries. Great, friendly staff. Superb food. A few single malt scotches would be nice. Bartender was good. Great piano entertainment. You tour directors were excellent. Train cabins were expectedly small but acceptable. Excursions were very much enjoyed.

We had 8 people traveling. Donna did a great job taking over for Kymm. We appreciate her help and will continue with her as she was very responsive to our needs.

Donna did a great job with our group, we had an Oberammergau, Germany Passion Play and Viking river cruise planned originally for summer 2020, but was delayed to 2022 due to the pandemic. Donna worked thru these obstacles, concerns, questions, contingencies, etc. over a several year period; doing a fantastic job keeping us informed. Personally, ours was a great trip/experience with a few unplanned obstacles including flight rebook due to severe weather with missed connection, lost luggage (48'), busing around low water spot on the Danube River, and coming home with a mild case of covid; but all worth it; making for a few good stories to tell. Pavlus did a great job.

I have used Pavlus Travel for oodles of years as our travel advisors and planners for ALL our cruise/cruise-land vacations with friends and family ... and I have never been disappointed! Donna has been our personal advisor since we began to cruise back in 2013 and she has always been there to answer all our questions and if she didn't have the answers she would "move mountains" to get the answers for us! And given the COVID constraints that all organizations are feeling these days (fewer staff) ... getting those answers have proven to be a challenge. But Donna did her magic! Yahoo! Donna or DD is terrific. She follows up and this time even got us a handicap accessible room with a balcony because that is what we wanted and there were none available at the time of booking because the first cruise we had booked was cancelled on us by Royal Caribbean. The cruise itself was somewhat disappointing in that we had to wear masks whenever we were outside of our rooms unless we were in the dining room. However, in the theater for entertainment, masks were not demanded and it just did not make sense because we are vaccinated and we had to test negative to Covid within 48 hours of the cruise. Also Celebrity, also owned by RC, does not demand masks be worn. Also, the Diamond club was too small for the large ship, plus many perks have been cut back if you are a Diamond club recipient. Allure of the Sea needs more entertainment during the week and it is time to change Mama Mia, the musical to a new one. We got a little bored because not enough to do during down times. As far as Pavlus and DD, could ask for no more, we appreciate all that she does for us and hope you give her some bonuses for her great work. Elsa Clauson

No problem with pavlus. We chose the tripbut, American Queen was a bit disappointing. Wasted 1 day with generator problem, and ship was understaffed.
